Tamil actor, music composer, director and producer Vijay Antony has met with an accident on the sets of his future film Pichaikkaran 2. As per the sources, Vijay got severely injured while performing an intense action sequence for Pichaikkaran 2 in Malaysia.
Upon the incident, the film unit rushed the actor to a nearby hospital in Langkawi, Malaysia where he was undergoing treatment for his sustained injuries. Sharing the details about the actor’s health update on Twitter, Producer Dr. Dhananjayan wrote- ‘Happy to share that @vijayantony is fast recovering from the accident injury. He is under observation at the hospital at #Langkawi & his family has reached and with him. They will take a call to bring him to Chennai soon. Let’s pray for his speedy recovery & back in action.’

Coming back to Pichaikkaran 2, the film is a sequel to the 2016 blockbuster action thriller Pichaikkaran which is delivered by Sasi. Interestingly, the second installment marks the directorial debut of Vijay Antony. Helmed and fronted by the talented actor, Pichaikkaran 2 is also financed by Vijay under his own production house Vijay Antony Film Corporation.
Apart from Vijay, Pichaikkaran 2 also features Kavya Thapar, John Vijay, Yogi Babu, Ajay Ghosh and others in prominent roles.
