As part of the election campaign in Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister Jagan attended a rally in the Mangalagiri constituency of Guntur district. A significant turnout marked the gathering at the Mangalagiri old bus stand area. Addressing the audience, Jagan emphasized the upcoming “Kurukshetra” in the next three days, highlighting the crucial role of the elections in determining the state’s future for the next five years and the continuity of ongoing schemes.

He cautioned against placing trust in Chandrababu, likening it to offering one’s head to a python. Jagan criticized the opposition for making unattainable promises, urging everyone to remain vigilant. He proudly recounted the transformative changes witnessed during his 59-month tenure, including the direct transfer of Rs. 2.70 lakh crore to the accounts of eligible beneficiaries and the creation of 2.31 lakh government jobs.

Highlighting the fulfillment of 99% of the promises made in the previous manifesto, Jagan showcased the government’s commitment to education, citing the provision of tablets to students from Class 8 onwards and the implementation of schemes like Gorumudda, Amma Vodi, Vidya Deevena, and Vasathi Deevena. He also mentioned social welfare programs such as Aasara, Cheyutha, Zero Interest, Kapu Nestham, and EBC Nestam.

Asserting a rule devoid of corruption and discrimination over the past five years, Jagan emphasized a governance model focused on welfare. He detailed benefits reaching households, including Rs. 10,000 to grandparents, Rs. 3,000 pensions, and doorstep civil services, portraying a vision of inclusive and accessible governance.
