Former Chairman of the Legislative Council MA Sharif has advised Muslim leaders that they should not waste their precious vote by voting for the losing YCP. Asking them not to be misled with false propaganda of the ruling party, he said that the welfare and development of the Muslim community took place only under the rule of TDP.
He strongly objected that Muslims religious leaders are advising to vote for the ruling party in mosques due to pressures from the YCP leaders. He emphasized that it is certain that Chandrababu Naidu will be the next Chief Minister as TDP is bound to win with absolute majority in the present polls.
He urged the Muslim religious leaders not to bring the scandal of alienating the minorities to the winning party. He recalled that TDP has been assuring that 4 percent reservation for Muslims will remain unchanged.
Sharif said that Muslims need not worry about TDP’s poll alliance with BJP in the present elections, which may not bring any change in the party’s attitude towards them. Moreover, he reminded that it was CM Jaganmohan Reddy, who has been stuck with BJP for the past five years. He made it clear that TDP’s alliance with BJP is for the benefit of the state only.
He said that Muslims should realize how they are being suffered during Jagan’s regime in the absence of employment opportunities and lack of investments. Sharif expressed anger that the state has gone backward by ten years during Jagan’s government.
He alleged that Jagan has done more injustice to minorities by stopping number of existing welfare schemes and during this period many people were also forced to commit suicide for lack of livelihood.
Apart from that, he said that the youth has been completely cheated in the name of the job calendar. Sharif urged minorities that everyone should be ready to oust Jagan. “Don’t waste your precious vote by voting for YCP by believing the false propaganda of YCP as it is certain to lose in these polls.”, he added.
