The ruling party of Telangana, BRS is expanding its wings beyond its state to make its mark in national politics. The Chief, KCR is eyeing the neighborhood state of AP as a part of its expansion by focussing on AP’s issues.
Despite the fact that being the sole reason for the AP-Telangana bifurcation, KCR is working hard to conquer AP alongside Telangana to be in competition with Modi. After setting up BRS camps in AP and making Thota Chandrasekhar AP-BRS’s working president, KCR is now planning to hold a huge public meeting. One of the problems he is going to address in AP is the privatization of the Vizag Steel Plant comes forth and the BRS leaders are looking forward to it. Already the Central Government of India asked the investors to bid on the 27th of March and anyone can throw their interests out until the 15th of this month. BRS is sending some waves across AP that it might take over the Vizag Steel Plant in order to save its employees. Another benefit is that Telangana holds a huge chunk of coal mines in Singareni and they come in handy.
As this is not enough, the BRS Minister KT Rama Rao is looking forward to visiting the Steel Plant to check its condition and to interact with its employee unions as a mark of their support. Experts opine that if BRS takes over, then it would be a huge embarrassment for the YSRCP but if all these tactics are only to gain sympathy and votes, then BRS would face a huge embarrassment in the hands of AP voters.
