Eight people breathed their last in the TDP Public show at Kandukur in Nellore district last night due to an unexpected stampede and also by falling into a huge drainage. As this incident left the entire state in shock and grief, the ruling party and opposition are busy in the blame game.
The YSRCP government took no time to respond on this issue right from midnight as their leaders completely blamed the TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu and his team for intentionally bringing in huge crowds. A leader of the ruling party claimed that TDP mobilized huge crowds and selected a narrow pass only to showcase a huge number of crowds to increase CBN’s political mileage.
On the flip side, the TDP and its supporters blame the mismanagement by the AP government and the Police Department on their failure to control the mob. They went further and asked if the Police would behave the same if the meeting belonged to CM Jagan. Not stopping there, TDP leaders reminded how police and local government officials work as party workers whenever there was a YSRCP meeting in the state.
Veteran experts and political observers opine that the fault is on both the sides as the ruling party failed to control the mob and secure the region and also by the opposition party for selecting such a narrow place which has all the chances for a stampede. Whatever might be the compensation from both Position and Opposition sides, the loss can never be replaced and the leaders should learn a big lesson from this huge disaster.
