The upcoming movie of the crazy hero Vishwaksen’s ‘Gangs of Godavari’ is currently in the production phase in the locales of the Godavari districts. This political drama which is set in the rural Godavari region has confirmed its release date.
Vishwaksen is trying an out-and-out rural drama for the first time which is completely opposite to what he has portrayed until now by trying the Godavari’s village dialect. Written and directed by lyricist turned director Krishna Chaitanya, the movie has Neha Shetty of ‘DJ Tillu’ as the female lead. The makers have fixed the date of 8th December, 2023 as the release date and it is competing head-on with the mega Prince Varun Tej’s ‘Operation Valentine’ which is of completely opposite genre. Already the released teaser impressed the movie lovers big as there is ample space for both Vishwak Mark’s rebellious attitude vibe and also the typical village political wars. Everyone is awaiting the release of this flick as none depicted the gang wars from the Godavari region on screen until now.
Gangs of Godavari is jointly produced by Naga Vamsi on ‘The Sitara Entertainments’ banner and Trivikram’s home banner ‘Fortune Four Cinemas’ with a decent budget. Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring music and background score after a long time again in Telugu.
