Trivikram and Mahesh finally lock a mass title for #SSMB28

The suspense on the title of Superstar Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film with Trivikram Srinivas, which is tentatively called SSMB28, is going to end on May 31st. The makers of this highly anticipated flick have decided to unveil the first glimpse along with the title as a treat on Superstar Krishna’s birthday. This is the third time after Athadu and Khaleja, Mahesh reunited with Trivikram Srinivas and there are massive expectations surrounding this crazy combination.

‘Guntur Karam’ is the title locked for this mass entertainer. Ever since this project went on floors, there have been numerous speculations about the title. Various titles like Amaravati ki Atu Itu, Guntur Karam, Ooriki Monagadu, and Ayodhya lo Arjunudu to name a few have been considered by Trivikram for this film. However, he finally opted for Guntur Karam and got the nod from Mahesh as well. The fresh schedule of this film will kick start in the first week of June.

The story of the film is set in the backdrop of Guntur in Andhra Pradesh. So, Trivikram felt that Guntur Karam is an apt title for the film. This is also the first time after so many years, Trivikram has given up the ‘A’ sentiment and decided to go with a different title. His previous titles A..Aa, Agnyathavaasi, Ala Vaikunthaporramuloo, and Aravinda Sametha started with ‘A’.

Guntur Karam stars Pooja Hegde and Sree Leela as the female leads. The film is going to hit the screens on January 13th, 2024. SS Thaman is rendering the soundtrack and Haarika and Hassine Creations is bankrolling the film.
