Trisha hits out at Mansoor Ali Khan for derogatory remarks

In a shocking expression of displeasure over not getting a chance to act in a rape scene with Trisha Krishnan in Thalapathy Vijay’s recent gangster drama, Leo, popular supporting actor of Tollywood, Mansoor Ali Khan drew a lot of ire from all quarters for his derogatory remarks made during a recent media interaction.

Mansoor Ali Khan brazenly said that he was fully disappointed for not getting a chance to act in a bedroom scene with Trisha in Leo. His filthy comments sparked a huge row as fans lashed out at his misogynist approach. Many from the film fraternity also slammed the actor’s objectionable comments after the video went viral on social media.

Trisha quickly responded by hitting out at his sexist remarks and rape comments. She took to X( Twitter) and posted :

“A recent video has come to my notice where Mr.Mansoor Ali Khan has spoken about me in a vile and disgusting manner. I strongly condemn this and find it sexist,disrespectful, misogynistic,repulsive and in bad taste.He can keep wishing but I am grateful never to have shared screen space with someone as pathetic as him and I will make sure it never happens for the rest of my film career as well. People like him bring a bad name to mankind”

Immediately after Trisha’s post, many of her followers came forward and extended support to her for calling out the repulsive attitude of a well-known actor in Kollywood.

Leo director Lokesh Kanagaraj also condemned the vile statements. He quoted Trisha’s post and wrote :

“Disheartened and enraged to hear the misogynistic comments made by Mr.Mansoor Ali Khan, given that we all worked in the same team. Respect for women, fellow artists and professionals should be a non-negotiable in any industry and I absolutely condemn this behaviour”.
