As we reported earlier, the things inside the team of Superstar Mahesh Babu are not well. The main female lead Pooja Hegde has walked out and the latest update reveals that the makers are holding talks with another actress to replace her.
Be it the clash of dates or Pooja herself failure to get impressed by the script, she is all set to walk out of the project. Pooja however is getting replaced by the director Trivikram by none other than the Malayalam beauty Samyukta Menon. The ‘Virupaksha’ beauty stole everyone’s hearts with her superb performance in the thriller and also her looks in Dhanush’s ‘Sir’ impressed Trivikram so much that the latter called her the best actress in recent times. It is not a surprise when Trivikram hand-picked Samyuktha Menon for ‘Guntur Karam’ romancing Mahesh Babu for the first time. This is her second big ticket flick after ‘Bheemla Nayak’ and the actress is all set to make it big.
As of now, the regular shooting is in progress with the second lead Sreeleela in a specially erected house set in Ramoji Film City. The movie is bankrolled by China Babu and Naga Vamsi. S SThaman who was rumored to be walking out of the project is back on the movie as the producers managed the talks. The movie is aiming for 2024’s Pongal for its worldwide release.
