The Telangana state minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao has made some striking comments on the governance of AP and criticised the leaders of the Andhra region for ridiculing the Telangana region for its shortcomings.
Errabelli has lashed out at Andhra leaders for the comments they have made especially when the state was not bifurcated. Errabelli stated that then chief ministers of united Andhra Pradesh Kiran Kumar Reddy, Rajasekkhar Reddy, and Chandrababu Naidu had insulted the Telangana region by saying that by selling one acre of land in Andhra, they could purchase a few acres of land in Telangana.
Errabelli also reminded that the Andhra leaders used to ridicule them saying that the powerlines in certain parts of Telangana are used only for drying clothes and especially YSR termed Telangana as a desert. The Telangana minister hits back saying that now AP is in dire need with a lot of shortcomings. The people of AP are drying the clothes on the powerlines. By citing the failures of the government, Errabelli stated that now if a person sells one acre in Telangna can buy hundreds of acres in AP. He concluded by saying that Telangana is progressing at a fast pace whereas on the other side, AP is regressing.
Have to wait and see how the YSRCP party reacts to the comments made by the Telangana minister.
