The sitting MLA of Gudivada, Kodali Nani is damaging his own reputation with constant controversies surrounding him and excessive press meets with unparliamentary words. Taking him rather seriously, now the TDP has started their own action on ‘Operation Kodali Nani’ to remove him in the next election.
Nani has got the support of his own community of Kamma along with a couple of local Christian leaders. To checkmate YSRCP which naturally has Christian votes, TDP is likely to give a ticket to an NRI Venigantla Ramu who earned a lot in the USA with a medical consultancy business. He belongs to the same community as Kammas and his life is an SC. Ramu’s father-in-law is a famous pastor locally and he has influenced over three hundred Churches in the region. So the TDP is targeting the votes of Kamma, SC, and Christians at the same time with the family of Ramu.
Already the works to attract voters have started in the constituency of Gudivada. The famous pastor & father in law of Ramu already distributed saree boxes, each worth 1500 to more than 143 churches and they look forward to finishing all the churches by Christmas. Seeing all these developments, Nani’s gang is also planning to organize Christmas celebrations for voters.
