As speculated earlier, Natural Star Nani’s 31st film ( Nani31) is titled Saripodhaa Sanivaaram. This marks his second collaboration with sensible filmmaker Vivek Athreya after Ante Sundaraniki. Today morning, the makers unveiled the first look poster and glimpse with an interesting tag #Nani31 unchained and it has Nani in a menacing avatar with a blazing backdrop.
Close to three minutes, the video hints that ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’, as the title suggests, is about a violent guy who is unstoppable on a momentous day ( Saturday) every week in his life. Without revealing a speck about the plot or the genre, the director came up with an intriguing and well-crafted glimpse that showcases Nani in a ferocious look as he tries to unshackle himself from bulky chains inside a huge factory-like building. He comes out with a big rage and notices scores of people standing with a lot of hope in their eyes.
The glimpse starts with a baritone voiceover recalling an old saying ‘ There comes a day for everyone and we should wait for it patiently’. He then adds that the current generation gave a new definition to it as ‘ Every dog has its day’. This leads to Nani’s intro in close quarters and he displays intense mannerisms to let himself loose from the shackles. Finally, Nani succeeds in breaking the chains and sets the place ablaze.
Jakes Bezoy renders a thumping background score to heighten the mood of the teaser. The art work is splendid. Nani’s stunning makeover is the biggest takeaway for the glimpse. It looks like he is once again attempting a different concept with this film. Overall, the project manages to grab the eyeballs with a stunning sneak peek.
As already reported, Priyanka Arul Mohan is the female lead and SJ Suryah is essaying a significant role in the film. DVV Danayya is bankrolling it on a huge budget.
