Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy’s Press Meet on Land Titling Act

Monday, May 20, 2024

Andhra Pradesh government advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy emphasized that completing all land surveys and implementing the Land Titling Act would streamline land dispute resolutions. He accused Chandrababu of deliberately spreading misinformation about the Land Titling Act for electoral gain. Sajjala recalled that the Chandrababu government had previously given full approval to the land titling act introduced by the Centre.

Sajjala clarified that the Land Titling Act provides comprehensive assurance to landowners on behalf of the government. Speaking at a press conference in Vijayawada, he pointed out that it was the TDP government that had endorsed the titling act, yet the same party is now maligning it. Sajjala alleged that the TDP was misappropriating funds, spending crores of rupees to gain electoral advantages through the Land Titling Act.

Challenging Chandrababu to obtain statements from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah branding the land titling act as flawed, Sajjala accused Chandrababu of resorting to such tactics because he lacked substantial achievements during his tenure. He criticized the Telugu Desam Party for spreading false information despite having nothing substantial to offer.

Sajjala asserted that Chandrababu’s allegations against the Jagan Mohan Reddy government and attempts to intimidate the public were aimed at gaining electoral leverage. He denounced Chandrababu’s reliance on the Land Titling Act for political gain and urged the public not to fall for such tactics. Sajjala concluded by highlighting the public’s lack of trust in Chandrababu’s promises.
