After giving feelers to the media about the release date last week, the makers of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s much-anticipated gangster drama ‘OG’ under the direction of ‘Saaho’ fame Sujeeth have now made an official announcement. As per the production house, OG will hit the screens worldwide on September 27th.
A rocking poster featuring Pawan Kalyan in a dashing avatar has been unveiled by the team of OG to confirm the release date. He appears in a stylish avatar wearing a black outfit with a purple shirt inside. He leans over a black vintage car and looks sideways holding a Tea glass in his hand. September 27th is the same date on which his iconic hit Attarintiki Daredi was released in 2013. The family entertainer emerged as a blockbuster despite falling prey to the piracy menace in those days. The first weekend followed by the Gandhi Jayanti holiday will ensure a solid opening for the film.
OG is one of the most awaited regional films this year because there are humongous expectations all over as Pawan is returning to the action genre after a long time. The scintillating teaser filled with adrenaline-pumping scenes and Pawan Kalyan’s fiery screen presence have further augmented the expectations of the film.
OG stars Priyanka Arul Mohan and Emran Hashmi in pivotal roles. SS Thaman is the music composer and DVV Danayya is bankrolling the film on a grand scale.
