Versatile actor Nani tried his hand at diverse roles and experimented with multiple genres, but he never did a horror thriller so far in his career. It seems like he is going to tick the box with his next film which will be helmed by Vivek Athreya.
It is a known fact that Nani and Vivek Athreya previously collaborated on a romantic entertainer, Ante Sundaraniki. Despite winning critical acclaim, the film failed to set the cash registers ringing and ended as a box office debacle. The comedy elements and sensible narration received plaudits but couldn’t garner commercial success due to various factors.
Once again, Nani and Vivek are going to team up soon for an interesting film. Reports suggest that Vivek narrated a horror story to Nani before Ante Sundaraniki, but the script didn’t materialise as Nani was keen to work on a rom-com at that time.
Vivek is confident that the horror theme is a bankable genre and will strike a chord with moviegoers. He convinced Nani to join hands for a thriller this time.
A formal announcement regarding this project will be made in a few more days. The regular shooting will commence once Nani wraps up his upcoming film Hi Nanna.
