Monday, December 23, 2024

The Opposition leader of Andhra Pradesh’s Assembly, Nara Chandrababu Naidu had been to the capital and met the Central Election Commission. He has submitted an 11-page complaint framed by him with all the evidence against the ruling party of AP and their malpractices regarding the upcoming elections.

After submitting the file, Naidu spoke to the scribes at the media point outside the EC and stated that he had submitted the evidence to the Chief Election Officer of the entire country and it has the list of atrocities the YSRCP-led AP Government has been doing. He added that the complaints include the removal of votes of the citizens who would likely vote for the opposition parties, the addition of fake votes to increase the vote percentage of the ruling party, etc. Naidu reminded us how the AP Government is misusing its power to benefit itself and even pressurizing the election officers of the state at booth levels.

The ex-CM of Andhra Pradesh declared that no political party ever removed votes from the list in order to win the elections and YSRCP will be the first and last. Babu revealed that he had suggested the EC visit AP and have an idea of what was happening there without meeting the local Election Officers to know the real issues leaving no time for the AP Government to cover up its acts. One has to wait and see how the Election Commission of India responds to Naidu’s plea regarding AP.
