The blockbuster Tamil movie Thani Oruvan which was also made in Telugu as ‘Dhruva’ is back with the sequel. The writer cum director Mohan Raja alongside his brother cum hero together announced the movie ‘Thani Oruvan-2’ in style today.
The announcement was made via teaser where the maker reminded us of the ending of the first part where the lead Mitran finds and arrests his enemy Siddarth Abhimanyu and starts hunting his next target using the microchip which Siddharth gives to Mitran. As he selects a range of weapons to hunt his next target, he awaits the director Mohan Raja to give his hero his next target. Here comes the real twist in the second part, Raja reveals that the next target aka the antagonist comes in search of the main lead Mitran. Finally, the brothers utter the words ‘Let’s Begin’ and the title ‘Thani Oruvan’ displays on the screen.
This mind-boggling announcement already hits the bull’s eye and viewers instantly get interested to wait for the movie. For now, Mohan Raja is busy preparing the script and regular shooting will begin in the year 2024. Nayanatara is romancing Jayam Ravi after many years and we are yet to know the main villain for now. This prestigious sequel is backed by the production company AGS Entertainment and they are spending a bomb to have extravagant visuals.
