Power Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar has expressed his anger over the false news story published in Sakshi paper. He lamented that it published false news on free electricity for SCs and STs. He was angry that another false narrative was written on smart meters before the week was over.
He said that if fake news is published, the letters will be ashamed of the people who wrote it. He objected that the blue media will not be patient when the coalition government implements the promises made. He was angry that the coalition government cannot face the public sphere and is writing false news stories in Sakshi.
He suggested that if Sakshi wants to write, it should write about the attacks on Anna canteens, public platforms and party offices demolished during Jagan’s rule. The minister said that he should write about the good things that are being done for the people, such as the Anna Canteens, Mega DSC, filling of potholed roads, and distribution of pensions to more people than anywhere else.
Meanwhile, Minister BC Janardhan Reddy challenged Jagan to come to discuss the development of roads, saying that the Jagan government has built roads worth Rs. 42,000 crores. But, he asked them to show where the roads have been built in the state. He challenged Jagan to come to discuss the development of roads.
He said that he has inspected the road works from Nandyal check post to Gargeyapuram. He said that he has instructed the officials to prepare a DPR for the expansion of KG road. He said that he has visited Kurnool. He also said that accidents are happening due to the presence of transformers on the roads. He has given orders to remove them.
The Minister said that potholes will be filled up across AP before Sankranti. He deplored that people faced severe problems as the previous government did not renew road works. As a result, he said that the tourism department suffered huge losses.
Minister Janardhan Reddy said that roads are being constructed in Amaravati with a huge budget after a study of roads in other states. He said that Rs. 3,000 crores of central funds have been received for the development of Orvakallu.
