Telugu Desam Party key leader Bonda Uma Maheshwara Rao today met the press and responded over the controversial BTech Ravi arrest. It is known that BTech Ravi, the in charge of the Telugu Desam Party Pulivendula constituency was arrested by the Police and produced in front of the Kadapa magistrate at midnight. He was remanded for 14 days.
BTech Ravi was arrested in a case that happened nearly 10 months back. On January 25th, this year, Nara Lokesh performed a special pooja at Kadapa Dargah, and a large number of party leaders and activists gathered at the Kadapa airport. BTech Ravi tried to enter the airport gate and had a scuffle with the Police. The Vallur Mandal Police registered a case against Ravi for injuring the Policemen.
Bonda Uma today condemned the arrests made on the TDP leaders. He termed these acts as the political vendetta by the Jagan government.
