Live : Question Hour With BJP’s Eatala Rajender

Tuesday, November 5, 2024

Etela Rajender, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s nominee for the Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency, addressed questions from the media during the NTV Question Hour on Friday, asserting that there was no necessity to dismantle the Revanth Reddy administration.

Commenting on the situation, he remarked, “Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s recent accusations against KCR, alleging that KCR contracted PM Modi for Kavitha’s release, were quite startling. Is this the language befitting a chief minister? His outburst was noted, and he faced criticism for his lack of restraint in his speech.

Reflecting on Revanth Reddy’s tenure, Rajender observed, “Revanth Reddy’s demeanor has shifted since assuming office. He was known for his affable nature beforehand. As he now occupies the position of Chief Minister, it is incumbent upon everyone to respect it. KCR’s speculation about Revanth Reddy joining the BJP is unfounded and baseless.”

He questioned, “Does KCR’s tongue function like a palm tree, swaying with the wind? The central government’s actions against fugitives like Vijay Mallya and Nirav Modi demonstrate its commitment to justice. During the BJP’s tenure, there were no major scandals, unlike the Congress era, which saw the disbursal of massive loans to corporates.”
