MLA Kaushik Reddy Alleges Minister Ponnam Prabhakar’s Involvement in Flyash Transport Scam

Huzurabad BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy has accused transport officials of allowing overloaded flyash lorries and alleged that Minister Ponnam Prabhakar is profiting Rs 50 lakh per day from this scheme. Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Kaushik Reddy stated, “A huge scam is occurring in violation of rules regarding the transportation of flyash from NTPC.” He also expressed his willingness to discuss the issue with Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar at any location.

Kaushik Reddy claimed that lorries are carrying double the permissible amount of flyash and alleged that money is being collected through Anoop, the son of Ponnam Prabhakar’s elder brother. “When I personally caught the lorries, only two were seized while the rest were allowed to continue,” Kaushik Reddy said, further alleging that officials released the lorries following a phone call from Ponnam Prabhakar.
