The BJP which has anticipated a big win in Karnataka elections with the fame of Modi has been terribly shocked by the voters giving a thumping majority to Congress.
The post-poll analysis is currently going on after the shocking defeat in the elections and it is known that the Telugu communities in Karnataka have not voted in favor of BJP. In Karnataka’s capital, the Telugu people and north Indian people play a significant role. The telugu communities have spread across most of the constituencies and it is heard that BJP has won a few seats in those constituencies. The Telugu people play a significant role in terms of votes in 10 districts. There are 63 constituencies in these 10 districts and BJP has won only 9 seats. Out of 10 districts, BJP hasn’t opened the count in 4 districts. 54 seats have been given to the congress party thereby making the biggest difference.
Congress has shown its dominance where the vote share of Telugu people and Kannadigas play a significant role. BJP has been defeated by going overconfident about the image of Modi.
