Kesineni Nani’s Strong Counter To Chandrababu

Vijayawada’s Member of Parliament and YCP parliamentary candidate, Kesineni Srinivas (Nani), has cast doubt on former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s assertions regarding wealth creation, labeling them as falsehoods. Nani underscored the significant progress witnessed in the state under the leadership of current Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy, citing increased income levels and reduced poverty rates.

Addressing a campaign gathering in the 43rd division of Vijayawada West Constituency, Nani highlighted the rise in the people’s gross annual income from Rs. 1.68 lakhs during Chandrababu’s tenure to Rs. 2.34 lakhs under CM Jagan’s administration. He also noted a higher growth rate in the Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) during Jagan’s tenure, despite challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nani emphasized a significant decline in poverty levels, from 11 percent under Chandrababu’s governance to 4 percent under CM Jagan’s leadership, attributing a 7 percent reduction to the current Chief Minister’s policies. He praised CM Jagan’s focus on enhancing healthcare and education sectors, with substantial investments directed towards hospitals and schools.

Furthermore, Nani criticized Chandrababu and Sujana Choudhary for disseminating misinformation and misleading the public. He questioned the credibility of their claims and cautioned against any attempts to deceive the electorate, pledging to expose such efforts. Nani also accused Sujana Choudhary of using questionable methods to gather information about certain constituencies’ conditions.
