KCR has been taking the damage control measures of his own party leaders that are all set to jump to other parties from BRS. The BRS Chief who woke up with the sudden rebellion of ex-MP Ponguleti Srinivas, caught hold of another leader to defect to T-BJP by acting immediately.
Going into the details, some BRS leaders are vexed with the way KCR had been ignoring them and in some places, the BRS head was giving more importance to the newly defected leaders from other parties than seniors. One such miffed leader is Tummala Nageswara Rao in Khammam and he was completely disappointed with the Chief. Following the footsteps of his region’s ex-MP Ponguleti, Tummala sent signals that he was all set to leave BRS only to join its current rival party T-BJP.
KCR who is keen on having a huge public meeting of BRS in Khammam foresaw the amount of damage it can cause to the party’s fame and had invited Tummala to Pragathi Bhavan and held talks with him. Sources from the BRS camp state that KCR promised Tummala an MLC seat in the upcoming elections and by inducting him into the upper house, he would be later made a Minister as well. This promise called the Khammam ex-MLA contestant of TRS and he started working for the party along with his supporters and personally overwatching all the arrangements for the upcoming public meeting of BRS that’s to be held in Khammam soon.
