The recently held MLC Teachers and Graduates elections have given a huge jolt to the AP CM Jagan and his party leaders as TDP managed to bag a couple of seats, especially in the region of YSRCP’s strong fortress, Rayalaseema. Miffed with his party leaders’ progress, Jagan is still staying patient keeping the key upcoming polls in mind.
YSRCP Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy who is aiming to sweep all 175 seats in the upcoming general elections, has been facing a lot of anti-incumbency which is evident in the MLC polls. Already he warned his MLAs not to give tickets in 2024’s polls if they fail to do the ‘Gadapa Gadapaku’ program but he got to know that this particular scheme backfired. Fumed Jagan who is keen on taking action on particular MLAs who fail to maintain good relations with the general public has postponed his anger as the MLAs quota MLC polls are yet to be held. Sources say that Jagan chose to stay calm rather than take some action on his MLAs as there is a huge chance of ruling party MLAs getting hurt and showing dissent at the last minute.
Meanwhile, the first time CM directed his MLAs to go into the public and reiterate all the government schemes they benefit from every year. Also, the party head has asked his political strategist i-PAC to get surveys of all his MLAs along with their progress.
