Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has interacted with all the district Collectors and SPs via video conference regarding his brainchild Jaganannaku Chebudham. Touted to be the updated version of Spandana, Jagan wants to relaunch this program to gain the voters’ attention prior to the elections.

Jagan launched Spandana and gave a chance to individual voters to express their issues directly to the Chief Minister via an app but the program didn’t become successful due to poor promotion and users’ inability to learn the technology. Jagan renamed this program as ‘Jaganannaku Chebudam’, an attempt to erase all the legacy of his father and to have his own identity, the CM is renaming all the welfare schemes. In his video conference, Jagan directed all the Collectors and SPs to resettle the app with better technology and make the app easier to use by any individual voter. With this Jagan is very confident in gaining voters’ trust as they can have a chance to raise their concerns with respect to the concerned public servants.

The CM declared that three crores would be allocated to all the Collectors in order to make this program a success as it will be officially launched on 9th of May. In this regard, Jagan is also assisting the Collectors with a couple of specially appointed review and help committees for each district to solve public issues.
