Sunday, May 5, 2024

The TDP general secretary and the former minister Nara Lokesh had a conversation with the local advocates during his ongoing Yuvagalam Padayatra. When Lokesh reached the district court complex, the advocates as a whole expressed their concerns.

The local advocates complained and expressed their dissatisfaction over the Judicial Academy which is sanctioned for Kurnool has been shifted. They also mentioned that Y S Jagan has promised that Kurnool will have the High Court bench but nothing has happened. The advocates also pointed out that the finance minister Buggana has told that High Court will be shifted to Visakhapatnam and the state government has filed an affidavit in the supreme court that the high court will remain in Amaravathi. The advocates have expressed their anguish stating that these kinds of comments will trigger unnecessary confusion among themselves.

Lokesh has responded by telling them TDP is not like Jagan and his party who change their words every now and then. He iterated saying that if TDP makes a promise once, it will abide by it. He also said that he is reassuring them once again that if TDP gets into power, a high court will certainly be established.
