The suspense has come to an end in the case of who is going to be the next chief minister of Karnataka. After many deliberations and assurances, Congress’s high command has worked it out.
The party’s top leaders such as Sonia, Rahul, and party national president Mallikarjun Kharge has involved in this and they have persuaded the duo with a lot of effort. The discussions went off till late at night when AICC general secretary Venu Gopal and Randeep Surjewala were also involved in briefing up about the strategies and plan. At last, they have brought to the conclusion that Siddaramiaih will be the chief minister and DK Shivakumar will be getting the deputy chief minister.
Earlier, a proposal was put forward for sharing the post equally but Shiva Kumar rejected it stating that won’t work. Shiva Kumar has played a very vital role from the ground level in making the party victorious in the general elections. Along with this, the high command is working out on the list of cabinet ministers and the details will be out in a day or two.
