After making a brief yet notable appearance in Nani’s recent thriller Hit: The Third Case, Tollywood’s talented and promising actor Adivi Sesh is now gearing up for the releases of his much-anticipated thrillers Dacoit and G2.
Amid the anticipation growing bigger for these two films, Adivi Sesh has recently dropped some exciting news on Dacoit. Taking to his Instagram story, the actor posted a picture from the dubbing studio, revealing that he has completed the dubbing test for Dacoit. He also announced that film shooting will resume for a major sequence on Sunday, June 8.
Renowned cinematographer Shaniel Deo, who worked on Kshanam and Goodachari, is directing this film as a debutant. Dacoit: A Love Story is said to be an action-packed film, promising a gripping narrative of love and betrayal with complex characters. Mrunal Thakur is the leading lady alongside Sesh, and recently they unveiled a fire glimpse. Earlier, Sruthi Haasan was cast as the female lead and had even shot for a few days and also released a glimpse before the change in casting.
Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap is making his Tollywood debut with his acting in this film. Jointly produced by Supriya Yarlagadda and Suniel Narang, the film is being shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi and is slated for a Christmas release on December 25, 2025.
