The Telugu Desam Party is leaving no stone unturned to make a big impact in the coming general elections. The TDP supremo is working on the key aspects of the party but there seems to be something missing.
If we look deep into the proceedings of the TDP in the previous months, we can observe the dissatisfaction of some of the senior leaders in the party. Some of the TDP senior leaders who have a strong vote base are not actively participating in the activities organized by the TDP. This is clearly visible in Mahanadu as well. The Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani has not only skipped the Mahanadu but also expressed his dissatisfaction towards the top leadership of the party whenever it is possible. He also stated that he will even contest independently if he doesn’t get the ticket and this clearly shows the indifferences he has within the party.
The other significant person is Rayapati Sambhasiva Rao who was once given the utmost priority in the party and he is also discontent with the top leadership. Kodela Siva Prasad’s son Sivaram is upset for putting him aside and giving priority to Kanna Laxmi Narayana. Apart from these, there are other seniors who think that certain people in the party are blocking their access to Chief Chandrababu Naidu. These leaders seem to be very upset about the way things are addressed in the party.
TDP has seen a huge setback in the last general elections for not bridging the gap between the TDP supremo and the significant leaders of the party. Have to wait and see how far the top leadership will take this matter into consideration and work on this as there is not much time left for the general elections.
