He is currently busy with his next film, Coolie, a film which will see Rajinikanth, take the lead role, along with two of leading men, Nagarjuna and Upendra, will be supporting roles. On the promotional tour of his film Sitaare Zameen Par, which releases on June 20, 2025, Aamir Khan talked about the speculated projects with Lokesh Kanagaraj, and said to the media, “Yes, it’s true – I am doing a film with Lokesh.”
He further announced that the new movie will be a superhero one, the first for both the director and the actor. The scripting and pre-production are on, and the film will go on floors by June next year.
Although Aamir avoided revealing more details, he indicated that details regarding the movie will be made public in due time. The news has already created huge buzz, with audiences eager to know what this powerful duo will offer on the silver screen.
