High Alert In Telugu states, Toll Free Numbers For Telugu Students At AP Bhavan, Telangana Bhavan

Due to rising tensions between India and Pakistan, a high alert has been declared in 14 areas of Telugu states. The Centre has advised the police to be alert in Secunderabad Railway Station, Shamshabad Airport, Kukatpally, Nampally, Hyderabad Central Bus Station, Tank Bund in Telangana, as well as Tirumala, Visakhapatnam RK Beach, Vijayawada Railway Station, Vijayawada Bus Stand, and MG Road in AP.

The entire Hyderabad is also in the alert zone. Monitoring is ongoing from the Integrated Command Control Center. Instructions are being given under the supervision of DG-level officer Hyderabad CP CV Anand. The police are telling people not to believe fake news on social media and to believe only official information given by the government. Octopus, Law and Order Police, and Task Force Police are fully focused in the six high alert zones in Hyderabad.

In the wake of the Pakistan attacks, the Union Home Ministry officials have alerted the TTD officials. The Home officials have given several instructions to the TTD officials on the security measures to be taken in Tirumala. TTD has further strengthened security in Tirumala as per the orders of the Center.

Many students from Telugu states are studying in Jammu, Srinagar and Punjab Universities. In view of the current situation, the AP government has set up special toll-free numbers in Delhi AP Bhavan for Telugu students studying there. The Central government will provide protection to students studying in universities in Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir from going out.

Similarly, in view of the India-Pakistan tensions, a control room has been set up at Telangana Bhavan in Delhi. Officials said that this control room has been set up for the stranded Telangana people living in the border states. They have advised those in the border states to use the control room for help, information and services.
