Puttaparthi MLA Palle Sindhura Reddy has specifically requested Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to allocate special funds for development works on the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of Sathya Sai Baba. Chandrababu Naidu, who arrived on a tour of Anantapur district on Friday, was welcomed at the Puttaparthi airport by MLA Sindhura Reddy and former minister Palle Raghunath Reddy.
On this occasion, the MLA submitted a memorandum to the CM to sanction funds related to various development works in the Puttaparthi constituency. She requested that funds of approximately Rs. 120 crore be sanctioned for various development works and said that funds be sanctioned for the repair of roads in the constituency.
Similarly, she requested that funds be sanctioned for the indoor stadium, which was sanctioned at a cost of Rs. 2 crore in the Kotha Cheruvu mandal center under the TDP government in 2018, be stopped halfway. She also requested that special funds be sanctioned for the construction of CC roads worth about Rs. 5.50 crore for 81 works in ST colonies in the constituency.
The MLA urged that special funds of Rs. 8.10 crore be sanctioned for the construction of 135 CC roads in SC colonies in the constituency. SC Corporation State Director Bakeri Gangadhar submitted a memorandum on the problems faced by SC and STs. He thanked the Chief Minister for providing budget funds of Rs. 344 crore to the SC Corporation even in the midst of an economic crisis.
He also requested that special funds be allocated to the SC Corporation in Anantapur district to solve the unemployment problem. Meanwhile, the Handreeniva Sujala Sravanti works were inspected in Chayapuram of Uravakonda constituency by the Chief Minister. He asked the officials about the work being done at the field level.
CM Chandrababu viewed the photo exhibition set up by the officials on the Handreeniva works. The work being carried out for 100 km was monitored through a drone. It was suggested that the amount of work done daily through programming should be monitored through a drone.
The CM suggested that the work should be carried out faster from now on. He instructed the officials to complete the work within the specified time under any circumstances.
