Lady Superstar Vijaya Shanthi marked her triumphant return to the silver screen with Mahesh Babu’s ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’, and now she is set to reprise her iconic role as a fearless and powerful police officer in Kalyan Ram’s upcoming film.
Today, on her 56th birthday, the filmmakers of Kalyan Ram’s next ‘NKR 21’ unveiled a glimpse of the actress in a powerful avatar as S. Vyjayanthi IPS.
Dropping the same, the makers shared the glimpse on social media platforms, extended their heartfelt birthday wishes to the actress, and wrote, “‘THE LADY SUPERSTAR’ is back in a DARING & DASHING avatar. Happy birthday to @vijayashanthi_m aka ‘S. VYJAYANTHI IPS’ from #NKR21.”
In the sneak peek, Vijaya Shanthi is unveiled as Vyjayanthi IPS, with Kalyan Ram delivering a potent dialogue that defines her character. Kalyan Ram’s intense presence in the glimpse adds to the powerful atmosphere.
Speaking more about ‘NKR 21’, the film is helmed by Pradeep Chilukuri and jointly backed by Ashok Vardhan Muppa and Sunil Balusu under the banners of NTR Arts and Ashoka Creations. Sai Manjrekar stars opposite Nandamuri Kalyan Ram as the female lead. The film also features Sohel Khan, Srikanth, and others in significant roles.
Ajaneesh Loknath is the music composer for this action flick. The other technical crew includes Ram Prasad as the film’s cinematographer and Thammiraju as the editor. Currently, filming is underway in Hyderabad.
