Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy unveiled the YSRCP’s manifesto yesterday, with State Government Advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy addressing the media to provide clarifications. Ramakrishna Reddy emphasized that Jagan is committed to adhering to the manifesto’s promises, highlighting the YSRCP’s track record of implementing nearly 99 per cent of past manifesto pledges.
He noted the heightened anticipation surrounding this election manifesto and the curiosity regarding any new announcements from Jagan. Ramakrishna Reddy asserted that discussions across the state were centered on the YSRCP manifesto, which reflects the government’s clear direction for the next five years.
Ramakrishna Reddy explained that the purpose of the manifesto is not merely to make promises but to outline the government’s strategic vision for the welfare of all segments of society. He emphasized that the manifesto reflects Jagan’s pre-election commitments and instils public confidence in the YSRCP’s agenda.
Regarding criticisms from figures like Chandrababu Naidu, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy dismissed them as baseless and unfounded. He condemned Naidu’s derogatory remarks and expressed confidence that the electorate would judge such behavior in the upcoming elections.
