The wait for an official announcement regarding the release date of Ram Charan’s long-delayed social drama ‘Game Changer’ seems to be perennial. Even after three years in the making, the shooting formalities are not yet wrapped. What is more surprising is that the makers haven’t yet finalized the release date as well.
Though rumors are rife that the Shankar directional will hit the screens for the Diwali festival, there has been no formal statement on this news till date. The production house is maintaining a stoic silence on the release date. The shooting schedules are extended indefinitely, and there is no clarity as to when the team will call it a wrap for the entire part.
Game Changer is now the only upcoming big-ticket film from Tollywood that has yet to lock in a release date. Other biggies like Kalki 2898AD, Devara, Pushpa 2, OG, etc. have already announced their release plans. But the uncertainty over the release date of Game Changer continues.
Producer Dil Raju is contemplating releasing the film in September or October. But he is waiting for Shankar to complete the filming and assure the time required for the post-production activities.
As fans continue to wait for the release date, Ram Charan is currently busy shooting for his part in Hyderabad. Kiara Advani and SJ Suryah are playing prominent roles in the film.
