Salaar set to storm US box office with record release

The anticipation surrounding the release of Prabhas’ most eagerly awaited action spectacle ‘Salaar’ is soaring to an all-time high due to the massive buzz among moviegoers. KGF fame director Prashanth Neel is one of the reasons why this film has been creating a lot of euphoria ever since its launch. The recently released first-look teaser that presented Prabhas in a formidable avatar with a blistering action sequence has augmented the expectations of the film further.

To match the hype and hysteria, the makers of Salaar are making sure that the film gets a wide and humongous release all over the globe. In USA, where Telugu films get huge patronage, Salaar is set to storm the box office with the biggest-ever release for an Indian film to date. Renowned overseas distribution house Prathyangira Cinemas snapped the theatrical rights of this film for a whopping price.

Now, the distributor has announced that the first part of Salaar will release in 1979 locations on September 27th as a mark of coincidence with the birthday year of Prabhas. This is an unprecedented release for any Indian film and it is going to be a sensational start at the box office for sure. Trade circles are expecting Salaar to open big in all overseas locations. If the distribution house plans perfectly, the film is expected to topple many existing records in the first weekend itself.

Salaar has Shruthi Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Jagapathi Babu in significant roles. Hombale Films is behind this big-budget entertainer. The first part is titled Salaar Cease Fire and the second part will release in Summer next year.
