As we all know, the Andhra Pradesh state is going through a severe financial crisis and the situation is becoming quite worse each day passing by.
As a blessing in disguise, the Andhra Pradesh government has been granted a 10460/- crores under the state revenue deficit. This is a much-needed respite for the state as it’s becoming very tough for the state even to meet its daily needs and expenses. This has been granted by the Union Finance Commission under the category of Special Financial Assistance. This grant from the central government has been the point of discussion in political circles.
Some opine that BJP is inclined to Jagan and his party and they are helping the government in all the best possible ways just to put a check on TDP and its alliance. Previously, at the time of CBN’s rule, TDP has repeatedly sought financial assistance for the state under state revenue deficit but the center has allocated only partial funds. Having less than a year before the general elections, this grant of 10000 plus crores has gained more significance.
