Not long ago, Pawan Kalyan made a shocking revelation about his remuneration during a media interaction. He confessed that he earns 2.5 Crores per day for working on films. It is a well-known fact that he is currently shooting for several projects which are in different stages of production. One of them is a multi-starrer with Sai Dharam Tej in the lead role in which he essays a pivotal character. The film is the official remake of the Tamil film Vinodhaya Saitham.
As he will be appearing in a brief role, Pawan allotted less than 30 days of his call sheets and commenced shooting. Reportedly, the Gabbar Singh actor wrapped up his portion barring one song in just 24 days without taking any gap. A highly reliable source informed us that Pawan is being paid a whopping 50 Crores as remuneration for signing this film . This is the highest ever pay for a Tollywood actor for such a short-span commitment. Other top league actors are getting in upwards of 100 Crores. But, they are dedicating more than 6 months to complete the shoot. Meanwhile, Pawan bagged a hefty paycheck for working less than a month which is why his remuneration has become the talk of the town.
Pawan commands a solid market in Telugu States. The makers of Vinodhaya Saitham’s remake felt that his craze will ensure terrific hype and result in strong business for the film. So, they didn’t bat an eyelid when Pawan demanded such a huge remuneration. The film has already garnered massive buzz in trade circles. The association of big names like Trivikram Srinivas and Samutrakani along with Pawan and Sai Dharam is likely to draw more attention toward the film before its release.
The untitled film is slated for release on July 28th this year. People’s Media Factory is bankrolling the film.
