The sensational murder case of the ex-MP YS Vivekananda Reddy has been undergoing many twists and turns as the CBI deepens the probe. One of its accused, Bhaskar Reddy has filed a case in the High Court to divert the case.
It is a known fact that the CBI officials have attached the names of YSRCP MP Avinash Reddy and his father Bhaskar Reddy in its counter file way back alleging them as the masterminds behind the murder of YS Viveka. Already they have grilled Avinash five times and the latter tried his best to stop the questioning by accusing CBI of not having a fair questioning, however, the Court dismissed his petition upon thorough checking of the recordings. Now his father Bhaskar Reddy who has escaped his questioning and later attended only when the CBI officials were on leave has raised eyebrows.
Not stopping there, Bhaskar Reddy has approached the High Court of AP to file a petition on the approver Dastagiri, the driver of the deceased Viveka regarding his cooperation with the CBI. Bhaskar Reddy also included in the petition that the CBI officers have been questioning him and his son solely based on Dastagiri’s comments and it is indeed not a fair trial according to him. As of now, CBI officers are on leave and they would soon respond to this petition by filing a strong counter with enough evidence against Bhaskar Reddy.
