The Assembly sessions of Andhra Pradesh have rather turned into a battleground as the house witnessed a couple of ridiculous acts from the so-called MLAs of the ruling party. In what may be called as a shocking turn of events, an MLA of YSRCP has allegedly manhandled a TDP MLA.

Going into the details, the AP Assembly sessions continued on Monday but the opposition party leaders demanded a discussion and debate on the GO-1 which was termed as an attack on the basic and democratic rights of any politician. As the Speaker Tammineni Sitaram didn’t let it happen, the TDP MLAs surrounded the Speaker’s podium and started their protest. At one point, a few MLAs tore the GO-1 and stashed the trash onto the podium and this irked the ruling party YSRCP MLAs. As per the allegations of the TDP leaders, the YSRCP MLAs rushed to the podium and surrounded the TDP MLAs in intimidating ways while the Speaker urged all the MLAs to go back to their seats.

It was then, the YSRCP MLA Sudhakar Babu allegedly manhandled the TDP MLA Dola Bala Veeranjaneya Swami. As this is not enough, the TDP MLA Atchannaidu rushed out of the Assembly only to declare that the YSRCP MLA Vempally was accused of attacking his colleague Butchaiah Chowdary badly. TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu condemned these attacks on the TDP Dalit MLA and termed it a Black Day in AP Assembly. On the contrary, the ruling party MLAs accused TDP of the same from their point of view.
