Versatile Kannada hero Upendra is betting big on his upcoming Pan-Indian film ‘Kabzaa’. The movie is touted to be the next big thing after ‘KGF-1 & 2’, ‘Kantara’, ‘Vikranth Rona’, and ‘Charlie’.
Touted to be a gangster action entertainer, ‘Kabzaa’ already made its mark with the teaser. Even though it appeared to be a twin of ‘KGF’ in its technicalities, the presence of a stellar cast and the fact that Upendra is coming up with a film made this project interesting. Also, the story revolves around the son of a freedom fighter spanned between the time periods of 1947 to 1984 increasing the buzz. Along with him, the movie has Kicha Sudeep, Shriya Saran, Manoj Bajpayee, Nawab Shah, etc award winning actors portray crucial roles thereby increasing the canvas of the flick. In Telugu, the movie was bought by the distributor Sudhakar for a mind-boggling budget and is presented under his son Nithin’s own banner Ruchira Entertainments.
Directed by R Chandru, the movie is bankrolled with a huge budget by Chandry under ‘Sri Siddeshwara Enterprises’ in association with the presenter MTB Nagaraj. The KGF sensation Ravi Basur has scored the music and background. AJ Shetty cranked the camera and Mahesh Reddy is the editor. The makers are planning to release this flick on the 17th of March across the world in as many as seven languages.
