The YSRTP President Sharmila has been granted bail after a long day’s twists and turns in the city of Hyderabad following her protest against the ruling party TRS and its supporters as they allegedly attacked her car.
The city of Hyderabad witnessed a high-tension drama when AP CM YS Jagan’s sister YS Sharmila staged a protest and gave a tough time to the Hyderabad Police. The issue started when some TRS supporters destroyed her car and the bus she was using for the ‘Praja Prasthanam’ yatra. Hurt Sharmila drove the damaged car to directly question the TRS Chief KCR along with the damaged bus with a handful of YSRTP supporters. As expected, the city Police stopped her on the road and tried their best to halt her. As Sharmila was reluctant to leave the car, Police used their women’s force and towed the car to the Panjagutta Police station and took her into custody along with five of her followers. Her husband along with a personal lawyer reached the station and questioned the Police who imposed nine offenses against her for creating a ruckus.
One of the sub-inspectors, K Akhila registered an FIR against Sharmila and produced her before the magistrate. Sharmila’s lawyer however argued that she protested without damaging any law and order and finally the judge granted her bail under personal bond. Meanwhile, her mother YS Vijayamma sat for a protest at her Lotus Pond home against the whole arrest.
