The Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh K Narayana Swamy the other day declared that his party would clean sweep in the upcoming elections. The leader of Nellore claimed that the victory of YSRCP would be so big that the opposition would lose all the fewer seats they secured in 2019.
The MLA of GD Nellore has participated in the cheque distribution in his constituency where he gave Rs 7.96 crores of rupees to 899 self-help groups as financial assistance. Speaking on the occasion, he displayed a lot of confidence in the ruling party as the CM has continued the legacy of late YSR’s development schemes. Reiterating that the YSRCP is the only party in India to have unique schemes for all sections of society, Narayana Swamy claimed a clean sweep victory in 2024. He went further and declared that the craze of YSRCP is such that even the Opposition leader CBN would lose his Kuppam MLA seat in the general elections.
To everyone’s surprise, these comments of the AP Deputy CM are not at all a match to the growing anti-incumbency of the AP Government. The results of all the MLC polls indirectly pointed out the downfall of the YSRCP Government and people are looking for alternatives already in the state.
