Vijaysai Reddy, the YSRCP’s candidate for the Nellore Lok Sabha seat, accused TDP leaders of spreading falsehoods due to the YSRCP’s growing popularity during the elections. Speaking to the media, he expressed satisfaction in contesting from his own constituency, which was designated for general category candidates in 2009. He claimed that the TDP lacked a suitable candidate for Nellore, leading to the seat being contested by his party. He noted the absence of representation for the Jana Sena party in legislative assemblies, prompting its alliance with TDP and BJP.
Criticizing leaders for preaching moral values, Reddy dismissed the allegations as baseless. Addressing the recent incident of drugs found in a container at the Visakhapatnam port, he stated that it was handed over to the YSRCP. He mentioned the Sandhya Aqua Company’s association with Chandrababu’s community and their cordial ties with TDP leaders. Vijayasai Reddy assured that an inquiry into the drug import was underway, promising transparency in revealing the facts. He accused the TDP of initiating an unethical conflict.
