YSRCP leader Turaka Kishore, involved in the attack on TDP leaders Buddha Venkanna and Bonda Uma during the previous government’s tenure in Macharla, was arrested by Palnadu police in Hyderabad. Kishore was presented before the Macharla court today, where the judge ordered a 14-day judicial remand. Following the court’s decision, he was transferred to the Guntur sub-jail.
Kishore had been in hiding after the elections and was reportedly staying with his brother, Srikant, in Bengaluru. He was apprehended by the police in Hyderabad while attempting to meet former YSRCP MLA Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy. Kishore is facing charges in seven attempted murder cases, along with an additional seven criminal cases.
