YSRCP Govt pays its Ministers first and employees last in AP

In what may be called as a shocking piece of information regarding the state of Andhra Pradesh, the right to information act has revealed how the ruling party is treating its own Ministers versus the Government employees regarding their monthly salaries.

It is a known fact already that the AP Government employees have been protesting against the YSRCP government with many issues and late payment of salaries is their top priority. Even after a delay, they used to get on the 10th and for some departments, they are getting paid surprisingly on the 20th of every month leaving the employees in vain. The current head of the AP Congress Party, Sunkara Padmasri filed a query under ‘The right to Information Act’ and he got a reply. According to the information, Sunkara declared that the AP Medical and Health Minister has been getting paid exactly on the 1st of each month whereas the government employees under him are getting paid on the 15th and sometimes 20th of every month.

Ministers of YSRCP have been making tall claims that the lack of funds is making a delay in crediting the salaries and the borrowed funds used to run the state itself. Now, this new information has shed some light on how these Ministers are well paid even after their alleged percentages in the projects they sign, however, the employees who merely survive on their monthly income are biting the dust, opines a political analyst.
