The CBI officials are not in the mood to slow down as they have served a fresh set of notices to one of the accused, Bhaskar Reddy in YS Viveka’s murder case. The officials have reached Kadapa, raising tensions in the atmosphere of the YSR district.
Bhaskar Reddy was directed to attend the CBI inquiry on the 23rd of this month along with his son Avinash Reddy but the prior had cited personal and other reasons to request the officials for the postponement of the questioning. The department of CBI wasted no time in denying the request and sent fresh notices ordering Bhaskar Reddy to attend the interrogation in the Central Jail of Kadapa today at any cost. Five CBI officers reached Kadapa yesterday night and are all set to grill Bhaskar Reddy. Analysts state that the officers choosing to question Bhaskar Reddy within a day they had Avinash Reddy was a wise move.
Bhaskar Reddy was alleged to be a mastermind in this murder case according to the investigation by the CBI. The driver of the demised, Dastagiri turned as an approver and he declared that Bhaskar Reddy ordered him to buy an axe and he did the same. Also Bhaskar Reddy gave shelter to the five accused members of the murder of Viveka, including Sunil Yadav on the days before and after the murder. With all this evidence, CBI has included Bhaskar Reddy’s name in the affidavit they submitted to the court earlier linking him to the murder. In the wake of all this, the entire ambiance of the Kadapa district is on heat.
