The sensational case of AP Chief Minister YS Jagan’s uncle YS Viveka Reddy’s murder case has got a fresh update as the CBI served notices to the YSRCP MP Avinash Reddy as a part of their investigation.
It is a known fact that the entire investigation of Viveka’s murder case has been transferred to the CBI upon the request of the deceased victim’s family. CBI which is probing deep into this case has got a new lead and they sent notices to YS Avinash Reddy, asking him to appear before them by 3 PM on the 24th of this month. They want to interrogate Avinash Reddy along with his father Bhaskar Reddy as well as they are allegedly linked to the case. The YSRCP MP and relative of Jagan, Avinash Reddy however responded to the notices by assuring his full cooperation to the investigation but asked the CBI to give him five more days of time citing his busy schedule and work being an MP of the ruling party.
Already it was reported that a team of CBI actually went to Pulivendula, the hometown of the entire YS family, and inquired about Bhaskar Reddy and failed to find him. Now all eyes are set on the investigation of Avinash Reddy regarding what the CBI would uncover this time. Meanwhile, the opposition is blaming the YSRCP Chief Jagan for protecting the real culprits using his power within the state and that was the reason, Viveka’s daughter pleaded with the High Court to transfer the case from AP’s jurisdiction to the CBI, an independent agency.
