Recently, a film titled ‘Vivekam’, based on the murder of former MP Viveka, was released on YouTube. Directed by Team S Cube, the film has attracted millions of views. Dr. Sunitha Reddy, Viveka’s daughter, shared her reaction to the film. “I’m not sure if it’s a film or a documentary. I’m unsure about who produced it or when it was made… It was presented very boldly. While there may be differing opinions on the portrayal of personal aspects, I found the last half-hour of the film too difficult to watch. I couldn’t bear it and had to close my eyes. Compared to the actual incident, the film seemed to handle it with a lighter touch. However, the reality is far more gruesome. I’m uncertain how people will perceive it, but personally, it deeply hurt me,” she expressed.
